Morning – Historic Quito:

• Basilica del Voto Nacional – Explore the largest neo-Gothic church in South America. Climb its iconic towers for unmatched city views and admire its unique gargoyles inspired by Ecuadorian wildlife.
• Plaza Grande (Independence Square) – Discover the political and historical core of Quito. Surrounded by the Presidential Palace, the Cathedral, and colonial arcades, this plaza is a living symbol of Ecuador’s heritage.
• La Compañía de Jesús Church – Visit this dazzling baroque masterpiece, famous for its intricate altars, domes, and walls covered in over 50 kg of gold leaf. It’s often considered the most beautiful church in South America.
• San Francisco Church & Plaza – Step into one of Quito’s oldest and most iconic religious complexes. The church and its square reflect centuries of history, architecture, and Andean tradition.
• El Panecillo Hill – Enjoy a panoramic view of Quito from this iconic hilltop. Visit the impressive Virgin of Quito statue, a unique winged Madonna that watches over the city from above

Afternoon – Equator Experience:

Intiñan Museum – Dive into Ecuador’s cultural and scientific wonders through interactive exhibits. Try gravity-defying experiments and learn about indigenous traditions and their connection to the equator.

Middle of the World Monument – Stand on the official line that divides the Earth’s hemispheres. Learn about the French Geodesic Mission and take a symbolic photo with one foot in each hemisphere!

✅ What to Bring on a Quito Tour

• Comfortable walking shoes
  The historic center has cobblestone streets, so sturdy shoes are a must.
• Light jacket or windbreaker
  Quito’s weather can change quickly — sunny mornings and rainy afternoons are common.
• Sun protection
  At over 2,800 meters (9,300 ft) elevation, the sun is strong. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat or cap.
• Reusable water bottle
  Stay hydrated throughout the day, especially if visiting the TelefériQo or walking long distances.
• Cash in USD (small bills)
  Some local shops and markets may not accept cards. It’s best to carry small denominations and coins.
• ID or passport (a copy is fine)
  Helpful in case it’s requested during the tour or for entry at some locations.
